The Charm of Black and White Teapots

If you think black and white as a color scheme is a modern style only, then you may be surprised. The simple look of black and white extends into teapots. With styles that include country, vintage, and yes, even modern.

I'm a big fan of simple color schemes. Two basic colors then a single accent color. My own daughter did a fabulous job of designing her kitchen in a black and white color scheme. So don't you know I gave her a tea set with a black and white teapot and solid color teacups. Since red is her accent color in her kitchen, the teacups were a perfect match.

Black and white teapots can be any design you can imagine. Patterns of polka dots, checks, even cats can make great additions for anyone's decorating. But also flowers and damask designs for more elegant looks.

Black and white teapots aren't just for decorating. They are also great for using as well. Think of them for your next tea party. Even imagine a black and white tea party theme. A black and white bridal shower tea party can be fantastic. Use a sweets-only buffet if you want, too.

Even if just for your own tea time break, use a tea pot that you love. That will make the whole break even more fun for you. If black and white teapots are what you are looking for, all the better.
