Floral Teapots for Springtime Tea Parties

With the arrival of Spring comes a great excuse to have a tea party. Well, actually any excuse will do, but the bright beautiful flowers that bloom in Spring are a wonderful excuse.

My teapot collection includes lots of fun floral teapots, but also some that are just for the beauty of the flowers. When I have a Welcome Spring tea party I love to use those floral teapots and cups to really accent the party.

I also enjoy using one of my floral teapots as the centerpiece for the table. It's such an easy way carry the Spring time theme. I set the teapot on a brightly colored place mat or cloth napkin, then either add some fresh flowers in the teapot, like a vase, or lay them around the base of the teapot.

Draping brightly colored ribbons around the teapot achieves the same effect. I get a charming centerpiece that helps welcome Spring time into my world.
