Tea Party Food Presentation

Planning a tea party is both fun and challenging. You get all the special tea pots and tea cups ready. You choose the special teas you will be serving. But now you need to think about the food for your tea party.

The right foods to serve are fun and easy recipes. But presenting them may be a bit more challenging for you. Food presentation now days is no longer just laying out platters and bowls filled with stuff. Think about height and variety. Just accents that go along with your theme.

Try a tiered presentation of finger sandwiches, add baskets of theme-shaped Queen's Cheese Biscuits and tuck alongside a few small bowls of cherry tomatoes and baby carrots. You have a healthy and varied menu with a great presentation.

Adding sweets to your menu is always welcomed by guests. A fun way to do that is to put together a small grouping of dessert items. Again think in terms of varied heights. Take two different sized bowls and invert them. Lay a napkin that matches your theme colors over each. Then set on each, a small plate of theme-shaped cookies or sweet breads cut into bite-sized pieces. A bowl of grapes, both red and green mixed together can complete the dessert grouping.

Arrange your tea service in between the two food groupings and you have a great tea party food presentation. It really is simple and easy to present your food items in a style that will delight both you and your guests.
